NID card being given in Bandarban
Distribution of national identity (NID) card among voters in Bandarban district began yesterday.
Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the program at a function held at the Sadar upazilla auditorium.
Zonal Commander of joint forces Lt Col Mohammed Ali Sohel also at the function, also attended by Upazilla Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Anupam Barua district election officer Mr Kamrul Hasan.
District election office source said 49,180 identity cards card will distributed among voters in Sadar upazila including Bandarban municipality area.
