Polls to be held in time
Matin says
Adviser for home Maj Gen MA Matin (rtd) yesterday said general election will be held in time according to the roadmap declared by the Election Commission.
He was addressing as chief guest a meeting of the officials of district administration, police and joint forces at Barisal circuit house.
The caretaker government is now handling the challenges of economy and has already collected Tk 753 crore by anti-corruption drives, he said.
People are now enjoying the results of the reforms that the government has done without any biasness and political goal, he said, adding that criminals will not be spared.
