Choppers used to collect data in remote Khagrachhari
Helicopters were used to collect data of 936 villagers in two remote villages of Kestamonipara and Durgamoni in Panchhari upazila on the first day of voter registration work yesterday.
This was revealed at a discussion held at Panchhari Bazaar School and College to mark the beginning of voter registration work with photographs in the upazila. Panchhari Upazila Election Office organized the discussion.
Khagrachhari BDR Sector Commander Lt Col Akter Hossain, also Acting Commander of Khagrachhari Region inaugurated the voter registration work as chief guest.
District Election Officer Nurul Hasan Bhuiyan chaired the discussion.
