Can the EC answer?

It is appreciable that the caretaker government and the Election Commission (EC) have taken a historical step to prepare a computer-based voter list and issue national ID cards to the eligible citizens. The EC is successfully carrying out the task. It has been reported in the media that the EC has plans to hold City Corporation as well as Pourasava elections within the next couple of months as most of the eligible voters have already been registered. The Chief Election Commissioner, Dr. ATM Shamsul Huda, informed the press that a total of 3.29 crore voters had been registered as of February 3 and the number would reach 4 crore by the end of this month. The City Corporation election for Dhaka city may take place in May. To pave the way for the election, voter registration activities in most of the areas have been completed. In many areas, voters are reported to be receiving ID cards. But unfortunately, no voter registration has taken place at Sector-11 of Uttara area. Once I made a phone call to a person, who is involved in voter registration activities, and wanted to know about the time of voter registration. He told me that the voters' registration in the area would start after two to three months. But as per the election roadmap, Dhaka City Corporation election is supposed to take place within that time. We don't know why voter registration is being delayed in the area. Can the EC answer the question to remove our confusion?
