Benazir Bhutto's assassination
M.A. Elihan Zakaria (Letter, Feb 4) attributes the death of Benazir Bhutto to the justice of Allah. Her crime, it seems, is that she did not apologise for the sins of her father.
From the point of view of pure justice this seems illogical. Justice driven by emotional hate for the children of criminals is not justice. And where should this "justice" stop? At the children, at the grandchildren? Nephews and nieces?
There would not be many in Bangladesh who have affection for the daughter of the war criminal Bhutto, but I know of nothing good that comes from extra judicial killings.
