Outlaw killed in Pabna
Party rivals chopped to death an outlawed activist to death at village 'Sonakandi' in Santhia upazila under the district early yesterday.
The dead, Md Farman Ali, 32, of the same village, belonged to outlawed Janajuddha' faction of Purbo Banglar Communist Party, police said, adding that he was accused in several cases including murder and robbery.
The outlawed activists called Farman from his residence on Monday noon and chopped him to death near Sonakandi Beel at the early hours of yesterday, police quoted the family members as saying.
Santhia police recovered the body and sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
