Our postal service

Ruhul A. Chowdhury, Dhanmondi, Dhaka
Thanks to Mr. Ihsanul Haq for his brilliant suggestion regarding improving the postal services in Bangladesh. Mr Haq perhaps does not know that we Bangladeshis earn billions of dollars working as expatriates and in this situation do we still need to hire technical experts for improving our postal services? We use our brain to maximise corruption but if we use it to enrich our dear motherland, we can build a better Bangladesh. It is already too late for our people to think how to improve the overall situation and stop nasty politics of corruption. We should think how to provide bread, butter and jam to the poor post office employees by guiding them to improve our postal services to global standards, instead of providing them with old panta and onions. In many cases, we have the experience and expertise to improve our products and services, but we either aim to maximise corruption or to profiteer and send billions of dollars abroad to develop hidden wealth. We need to change our attitude and value orientation and stop giving junk lectures. So, will the adviser concerned be kind enough to consider improving our postal services?
