Six cops closed for negligence of duty
Six police personnel of Kishoreganj Sadar Police Station were closed to Kishoreganj Police Lines on Sunday on charge of negligence of duty.
The closed persons are sub-inspectors Narayan Chandra Roy and Badsha Mullah, assistant sub-inspector Ashuma and constables Mosharraf, Morshed and Rezaul.
Officer-in-Charge Abu Md Fazlul Karim of Kishoreganj Sadar Police Station confirmed the incident.
On February 15 morning criminals robbed Khalilur Rahman, 37, of Tk 5,000 and a mobile set when he was leaving a hotel at Gaurango Bazaar in the town, sources said, adding that at the time the six policemen were on patrol duty in that area.
