'Stolen' clothes worth Tk 20 lakh recovered
Clothes worth Tk 20 lakh were recovered by Detective Branch (DB) of police in Chittagong city yesterday.
Tipped off, a DB team conducted a drive at a house in Shah Mirpur area of Karnaphuli and recovered 31 cartons of kids' clothes.
Police suspected that the cartons were stolen when being transferred from the factory for shipment abroad.
A case was filed with Karnaphuli Police Station in this regard.
