Celebratory Procession

A colourful celebratory procession was brought out in the capital on the occasion of Janmashtami, a religious festival of the Hindus marking the birth of Lord Krishna, yesterday. Mahangar Sarbojaneen Puja Committee and Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad jointly organised the huge procession, which included 138 trucks carrying devotees from across the city.
