Mustafizur bags Reinhard Keune's Memorial Award
Mustafizur Rahman, deputy regional director of Bangladesh Betar, won the Reinhard Keune's Memorial Award-2012 of Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) in the best radio programme category. He was given the award for producing a radio programme titled “Promoting the Green Technology and Sustainable Energy”, said a press release yesterday. His documentary focused on different issues including climate change impacts on Bangladesh, solar electricity utilisation, electricity production using wind in coastal regions. Yang Binyuan, director of AIBD, handed over the award to Rahman at the “38th Annual Gathering and 11th AIBD General Conference and Associate Meetings” at Kathmandu in Nepal on July 25.
