One arrested with phensidyl
Narcotics Control Department (NCD) seized a truck with 900 bottles of phensidyl and arrested a man in this connection in Colonel Hat area of Chittagong city early yesterday.
The arrested person is Kamal Uddin, 28, son of Sirajul Islam hailing from Cox's Bazar district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of NCD, with the help of Pahartali police, conducted a drive at Monsurabad around 3:00am where a Cox's Bazar bound truck was coming from Satkhira.
The team halted the truck, seized the phensidyl and arrested the man, said NCD Inspector Lokasis Chakma.
