New Korean volunteers in Dhaka

An eight-member team of Korean Overseas Volunteers (KOVs) arrived in Dhaka on Sunday to share their knowledge and experience with Bangladeshi citizens. The team members are experts in computer education, nursing, social welfare, health and Korean language, said a press release. Among the new KOVs, seven volunteers will be staying in Bangladesh for the next two years while another for the next one year. The KOVs will undergo in-country training for the first two months in which they are expected to gain knowledge on Bengali language, culture and customs.
