A fire gutted 14 plastic warehouses and plastic recycling factories at Islambagh of Old Dhaka early yesterday. Fire Brigade sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit. Valuables worth about Tk 15 lakh were gutted in the fire. Five fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze around 3:00am.
