Mahila Parishad seeks probe into suicide, rape
Bangladesh Mahila Parishad yesterday expressed deep concern over a suicide incident of a mother after killing her two daughters in the capital's Kafrul area, and an incident of gang rape of an autistic girl in Saturia upazila in Manikganj.
It also demanded punishment of the alleged people involved in the incidents after neutral and fair investigations, said two separate written statements of the organisation.
On Monday, a mother took her own life after killing her daughters by taking poison following a feud over extramarital affair of her husband.
