Akhlakul Hossain Ahmed, former member of constituent assembly and Awami League (AL) leader, died of old age complications at a hospital in the capital yesterday. He was 86. He left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death, says a press release. He will be buried in his family graveyard at Mohonganj in Netrakona today following his second namaz-e-janaza after Zohr prayers. His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Kakrail Circuit House Jame Masjid. Akhlakul, former vice-president of the district AL, was elected a member of East Pakistan Provincial Assembly from Mohonganj in 1970's election.
