DSCC gets highest offer at Tk 4.38cr
The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) yesterday opened the tender of 10 makeshift cattle markets in the city and received the highest offer of around Tk 4.38 crore for Armanitola cattle market in Nayabazar.
It was Tk 3.27 crore last year for the cattle market, which is the largest makeshift market in the city.
The DSCC this year is setting up 10 makeshift cattle markets while Dhaka North City Corporation is yet to float any tender.
Dhaka City Corporation last year set up 16 makeshift cattle markets across the city and earned Tk 8.01 crore.
The chief estate officer of DSCC Tajul Islam Prodhan opened the tender at Nagar Bhaban in the presence of the bidders.
