SB official becomes victim of doping gang in capital
A member of special branch (SB) of police was allegedly doped by “Agyan Party”, a group of muggers who make people unconscious by doping them, in Segunbagicha area of the capital yesterday.
The victim Shahiduzzaman, 35, assistant sub-inspector at SB reserve office in the capital's Malibagh area, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Humayun Kabir, assistant sub-inspector at the SB office, said Shahiduzzaman left his office for Audit Office in Segunbagicha area around 2:30pm.
“He drank a green coconut from a footpath shop and became unconscious at the stairs of the Audit Office,” he said quoting locals.
