Dhaka-Ctg road to be upgraded within six months: Quader
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday said upgradation of a 73km portion of Dhaka-Chittagong highway will be completed for vehicular movement within six months.
He was talking to reporters after inaugurating the Load Control Station in Bara Darogar Hat area under Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
The minister said the weight of vehicles will be measured at the station as vehicles carrying load of over 20 tonnes will not be allowed to pass through.
