Four arrested for impersonating
Detectives in two drives in Dhaka and Narayanganj in last two days arrested four persons, including a member of Rapid Action Battalion, on charges of impersonating a justice of the Supreme Court and judges of different others courts.
They are Abdul Hannan Khan, Raqib Hasan alias Badal, Manjurul Huq alias Ripon and Mozammel Huq, a member of Rab-4.
A huge number stamps, pads and fake seals of different top ranking government officials were also seized from them.
DB (West) Additional Deputy Commissioner Mashiur Rahman said, "Having his female like voice, Badal made a phone call to Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Saifur Rahman impersonating Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana of the Supreme Court on January 8."
"He also asked the magistrate to grant a bail to Kamal Uddin Khan, who was arrested for his connection with the banned outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir."
