'Miscreant' injured in 'shoot-out' with cops in capital
An alleged miscreant was injured in a "shoot-out" with police on Demra-Mohakash road in the capital yesterday evening.
Two others--Mamun, and Sajib,--with a pistol and four bullets were also arrested.
Hossain Sarker with a bullet wound in the leg was admitted to National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.
Demra police said the three on a motorbike were crossing a police check post while the law enforcers signaled them to stop but they were trying to flee.
As police chased them, the miscreants fired at them prompting law enforcers to fire back, he claimed.
