Worker dies from electrocution
A mason died after being electrocuted in Chittagong city yesterday morning.
The deceased is Md Mostofa, 42, of Jamal Para in the port city.
Shahabuddin, co-worker of the victim, said Mostofa came in touch with a live electric wire while switching off the electric motor after watering the new walls of an under-construction house in Ward no-8.
He was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 11:45am.
