Guerrilla best movie of 2011
Guerrilla, a movie based on Bangladesh Liberation War, was yesterday announced the best film of 2011 in the National Film Award-2011.
Guerrilla, an adaptation of the novel Nishiddho Loban by Syed Shamsul Huq, was produced by Esha Yusuf and Faridur Reza Sagor.
Director of the movie, Nasir Uddin Yusuf, was adjudged best film director of the year, said a PID handout yesterday.
Other awardees include: Abdur Razzak, lifetime achievement, Ferdous Ahmed, best actor for his role in Kusum Kusum Prem, Joya Ahsan, best actress for her role in Guerrilla, MA Alamgir, best side actor, Farida Akhter Bobita, best side actress for her role in Key Apon Key Por.
