JU journalism department demands proper facilities
Over 100 teachers and students of Jahangirnagar University's journalism department formed a human chain yesterday in front of the department's faculty building demanding adequate learning facilities.
The demands include classrooms, a seminar library and media laboratory.
Continuing their protest programmes on January 30, they will organise a sit-in programme on the faculty premises.
Dean of Arts and Humanities Prof Kamrul Ahsan and chairman of Bangla department Prof Kahled Hossain expressed solidarity with the agitators.
