Journos urged to attend Feb 11 rally
Journalist leaders yesterday urged every journalist in the country to participate in their scheduled grand rally to press home their demand for arresting killers of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.
The rally is scheduled for February 11 on Jatiya Press Club premises in the capital.
Leaders of four organisations -- Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Dhaka Union of Journalists, Dhaka Reporters' Unity and Jatiya Press Club -- made the request at a view-exchange meeting held at Jaitya Press Club.
They said journalists will not feel secure in their profession if the killers of Sagar and Runi are not brought to book.
