Death Anniversary
Today is the 36th death anniversary of freedom fighter Lt AM Ataul Haque of Bangladesh Navy. He joined the country's Liberation War in 1971 defying his allegiance to Pakistan Navy. Since independence, he served as the acting chief of Bangladesh Navy until April 1972. He joined Royal Indian Navy in 1945 and later joined Pakistan Navy in 1947. Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the departed soul.
