Housewife 'commits suicide'
A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a rafter of her tin-shed residence in Madhubagh area of Ramna in the capital early yesterday.
The victim is Tania Begum, 24, wife of Abdul Mannan, a vendor.
Ramna police said Tania committed suicide following a quarrel with her husband about family matters.
Tania's husband broke open the door and found her hanging by a piece of cloth. He took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead, Ramna police added.
