Agricultural inputs
When there is a continuous hike in the prices of the agricultural inputs, then the incomes of the farmers would become further marginalised. The import of costly chemical fertilisers is increasing and correspondingly, owing to the depletion of gas supply, the production of chemical fertilisers is decreasing. The government departments concerned must assist the farmers to collect cow dung, water hyacinths and oil cakes and convert them into manures for enhancing agricultural production across the country.
