Arms, bombs, recovered in Kushtia
Law enforcers recovered firearms, bombs, ammunition and drug in separate raids in Meherpur on Friday night.
Tipped-off, Rapid Action Battalion raided a brickfield at Baliarghat in Gangni upazila in the district at about 10:30pm and recovered one revolver and four bombs kept in a polythene bag.
Gangni police recovered one shutter gun with three bullets from an abandoned house in the upazila.
Mujibnagar police recovered 3 kg hemp and arrested two alleged peddlers -- Sahin, 32, and Ripon -- from the upazila bazar at about 11:30pm.
