WASA water
A few days back, I went to Mirpur WASA (Adjacent to Bangla College) to buy some Shanti water Jar. When I checked availability of Shanti water with the WASA sales outlet, I did not find Shanti water Jar (20 litre Jar) there. At one stage one staff advised me to collect good water from one water purifying plant located at Mirpur.
When I went to the plant I just found that they were just bottling WASA supply water and may be mixing some chemicals and marketing it. There is no signboard and there is also no label/brand name of that water.
They are selling hundreds of water jars every day in trucks and vans. When the entire Mirpur area is suffering from acute short supply of water, this plant is getting thousands of gallons of water.
I would, therefore, urge upon the authorities to kindly conduct an enquiry into the matter.
