Family murdered in Ashulia: 2 including mastermind arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) tonight claimed to have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a garment worker couple and their son in Savar's Ashulia.

Suspected mastermind, Sagar Ali and his wife Ishita Begum were held from Shafipur area of ​​Gazipur tonight, reports our Savar correspondent.

Moktar Hossain, 50, his wife Shahida Begum, 40, and their son Mehdi Hasan Joy, 12, were found dead in a flat with their throats slit in Jamgara Fakirbari Mor area on Saturday.

Rab media wing revealed the information in a press release tonight.

Details will be given in a press conference at Rab's Karwan Bazar office tomorrow around 11:00am, said Company Commander of Rab-4 (CPC-2), Lt Commander Rakib Mahmud Khan.
