Tarique Rahman inaugurates 'Free Animal Clinic'

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman inaugurated the “Free Animal Clinic” set up by the Bangladesh Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) in Banani, Dhaka, this afternoon.

The clinic is designed to provide medical treatment, primary healthcare services, and consultations for animals, organisers said. The initiative reflects a growing effort to improve animal welfare and ensure accessible healthcare for pets and stray animals across the capital.

Representatives from BAWA were present at the inauguration, highlighting the clinic’s commitment to offering professional veterinary support free of charge.

The organisers emphasised that the facility would serve as a hub for both treatment and guidance on animal care, helping to address health concerns for pets and street animals alike.
