Case for another term

Aminur Rahim, New DOHS, Mohakhali
It has become obvious that the ruling party will not reinstate the CTG and our prime minister will not step down at the end of her tenure. She has promised everyone that the next general elections will be fair and unbiased. During the DCC elections, everyone agreed that the election process was fair. I personally feel that she ought to be given one chance to prove herself. I appeal to all opposing leaders to be the better person and not repeat what happened in 1996 when the country was brought to the brink of collapse. You also cannot win people's hearts by resorting to violence. I hope our PM realises that if she becomes the opposition leader, the CTG will become a dead issue and will no longer be applicable in the future.
