Undervalued NU graduates
National University graduates are not valued for the teaching positions at the private universities though many of them have teaching experiences and publications. The colleges under national university have large campuses, many departments and even very good learning facilities than in many private universities. The students must study the whole syllabus before appearing at the exams as the question papers are not prepared by their own teachers. Their exam papers are scrutinised by external teachers. So they really have to study hard to pass the examinations. Even so, the NU graduates are not valued for the teaching positions in private universities.
Why is this discrimination? The government should look into the matter.
