Observing the Environment Day

British Council, in partnership with The Daily Star, Standard Chartered Bank and University Press Limited, celebrated World Environment Day 2016 with various activities from 29 May to 4 June 2016. Standard Chartered clients and their families, staff members and the members of Young Learners Center of British Council were invited to explore photographs celebrating biodiversity in Bangladesh from The Daily Star- Standard Chartered "Celebrating Life" contests at the British Council Library premise. There were also arrangements for the guests to browse books on environment and ecology from The University Press Limited and enjoy children's paintings from "Save Forest, Save our World" contest by The British Council and Standard Chartered Bank.
