The first batch of New Zealand players touched down in Dhaka on Monday ahead of their white-ball series against Bangladesh.

The remainder of the New Zealand squad is expected to arrive later in the night, around 11:00pm.

The three-match ODI series begins on April 17 in Mirpur, followed by fixtures on April 20 at the same venue and April 23 in Chattogram, before the teams move into the T20I leg later in the month.

With at least 10 first-choice players unavailable due to franchise commitments, New Zealand captain Tom Latham said the tour presents “opportunities for younger players or those with less experience than usual.”
