Four new faces in Pakistan's Test squad for Bangladesh series
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh, with Shan Masood set to continue as captain.
The series will be held in Dhaka (May 8-12) and Sylhet (May 16–20).
The squad features four uncapped players -- Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori -- as part of a blend of youth and experience.
Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed head coach for the tour, with Asad Shafiq and Umar Gul serving as batting and bowling coaches respectively.
Squad: Shan Masood (captain), Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wk), Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
