Startup Bangladesh forms strategic alliance with LightCastle Partners

Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL), the government-backed venture capital firm, has recently signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with LightCastle Partners, a Bangladesh-founded management consulting firm that operates internationally with offices in Bangladesh, Singapore and the United States.

According to a press release, the agreement seeks to support the development of Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem by generating data-driven insights, promoting investment opportunities and creating stronger links between local founders and global investors. 

The collaboration will focus on producing ecosystem research and knowledge products, organising investor engagement initiatives and global promotion activities, and arranging events that connect startup founders with international investors. The organisations also plan to hold joint ecosystem events such as webinars and roundtables, while launching a quarterly newsletter focused on Bangladesh’s startup landscape, as per the press release.
