Starting its musical journey in 2002, Chirkutt has already travelled with our deshi music within the country and abroad. Each Chirkutt songs is a soulful vendition of our chaotic urban life, romance, social issues and what not. With its two albums – 'Chirkutnama' and 'Jadur shohor', Chirkutt's members have delivered a number of lyrical and gripping tracks in our music scene. Last year has been hectic for them as they launched their second album and did a number of stage shows around the world. Their song, “Kanamachhi” in the film Television was an attempt  to challenge the mainstream film music and successfully won thousand of Chirkutt-lovers' hearts.
