Deploy army 7 days ahead of Kushtia-1 by-polls Ind candidate demands

The py-election will be held on February 29. A "powerful" candidate is "mobilising armed cadres" in the area, who are moving door to door and threatening voters to cast vote in his favor, he alleged at a press conference held at his Kushtia town residence Sunday evening.

Korban is in the polls race as an independent candidate though he is a member of Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP).
