Police action during AL's Ekushey Programme condemned

They protested police action during Awami League's (AL) Ekushey programme.

They termed the action as undemocratic and against the spirit of Language Movement and Independence War.

Prominent among the processionists were Rajshahi University Teachers' Association (RUTA) President Professor Khalequzzaman, Convener of Progressive Teachers' Association Professor Entajul Haque, Syndicate member Rahmatullah Iman, Professor Mahbubur Rahman and Professor Hasibul Alam Prodhan.
