Vow to contain crime
Leaders of the civil society assured local police administration of all-out cooperation to bring down crime rate in the district society.
They assured this at a discussion organised by Gopalganj police administration at Bedgram village adjacent to the town on Sunday.
Former Durgapur Union Parishad Chairman Emdadul Huq presided over the meeting while Gopalganj Police Superintendent (SP) Md Shafiqul Islam was chief guest. People of all walks of life attended the meeting.
