Shila and Runa, two housewives in Katakhali area were 'killed by their husbands for dowry' on February 27 and March 3.

People brought out a big procession and submitted memoranda to Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner, Superinendent of Police and Principal of Rajshahi Medical College.

They held a meeting on Rajshahi court premises. Chaired by Prof Sirajul Islam, the meeting was addressed by Advocate Shariful Islam, Mustak Ahmed, GM Mustak and Nigar Sultana.
