Safe water can reduce diseases

The government is spending crores of taka on disease control. A better success will be attained if the government spends a part of it for sanitation and supply of pure water, particularly to the poor and vulnerable sections of the population, they said.
The discussion on 'Climate Change and Crisis of Pure Water' was organised jointly by two NGO's --Uttaran and and Ulashi Srijuns Sangha.
People from all professions attended the workshop, held at Shilpakala Academy on Saturday.
The speakers included Dr. Kazi Rabiul Haque, Government MM College Vice Principal Enamul Kabir, Pro Kartik Chandrn Roy of the college, Azizul Haque Moni of Ulashi Srijani Sangha, Shahidul Islam of Uttaran and Md Abdul Mannan of Care, Bangladesh.
