The parties are Awami League (AL), Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu), Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Gono Forum (GF).

The meeting was held in front of Manikganj Press Club.

Leaders of the four parties urged their party workers to get ready for an all-out agitation to oust the government.

Manikganj district Awami League President Golam Mohiuddin presided over the rally while it was addressed, among others, by JSD-Inu central unit Joint Secretary and Manikganj unit Secretary Iqbal Hossain Khan, central member and district unit Vice President Afzal Hossain Khan, Awami League district Secretary Gazi Kamrul Huda Selim, district CPB Secretary Azharul Islam Arzu, GF leader Iqbal Hossain, Awami League leaders Jalal Uddin Ahmed and Abdul Mazid Photo.

Earlier, a procession was brought out in the town. Processionists paraded the main streets of the town.
