'Notorious criminal' Azim nabbed by Rab
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) nabbed alleged notorious criminal Md Azim from Chandmari area in the city on Saturday. Three bullets were recovered from him.
Police said Azim was wanted in about thirty criminal cases including cases for murder, arms snatching, rape and extortion, filed with different police stations in Barisal district.
Azim was handed over to police after he became sick during interrogation at a RAB camp.
He was treated at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital and then produced before court on Saturday. The court sent him to jail.
