Probe body for action against 2 Jessore Hospital doctors

A three-member probe committee has recommended the action after one and a half months of investigation. The probe body's recommendation was sent to the Director General (DG) of Health on Sunday.

BNP activist Bellal of Bajuadanga village died without treatment at the hospital due to negligence of duties of Dr Sirajul Islam and Dr Harun-or-Rashid on December 30 last year. He was admitted to the hospital following a road accident on December 29.

The probe body was formed by the hospital superintendent following submission of a prayer by Bellal's relatives.
