Textbooks distributed in Gaibandha
The Community Development Library (CDL), a social organisation here, is distributing text books for free to poor high school students in flood prone areas in Sadar upazila of the district.
Staring on Friday, it has distributed over 800 sets of textbooks out of targeted 1715.
Poor students from class to ten are getting the books.
The distribution was started at a simple function held at Baguria High School ground, attended by District Education Officer Azher Ali, officials of CDL and some NGOs and teachers and students of different schools in the area.
