National Film Award winners honoured in a dazzling reception

In celebration of 100 years of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh Film Director's Association (BFDA) staged a reception for National Film awardees;

Information Minister Hasan Mahmud presented crests to the artistes, as Dhaka Club was brimming with stars from the past and present.

Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar told the Daily Star that from 1976 to present, all the Lifetime Achievement Award and Best Director Award winners were honoured. All winners from the past 5 years were also invited.

"This is to celebrate the talented artistes in the industry who have worked so hard," said Gulzar.
