Beat the Heat
The sun seems to be at its angriest this year. But these five tips will help you survive the heat and actually enjoy the summer!

1. Water is Life
Summer is ideal for dehydration. If you don't want the sun to snatch every bit of your energy, be sure to drink water after every half hour. Soft aerated drinks and alcoholic beverages only make the dehydration worse. So avoid them as much as you can.
2. Eat Light
Try to cut down on the carbs and fatty foods. A healthy lunch of veggies or baked chicken is bound to make you much better than a heavy meal of everything oily.
3. Wear Light
Wear lightweight and light-coloured cotton clothing that reflects sunlight and heat and helps the body maintain normal temperatures.
4. Apply Sunscreen
If you are in the mood of skin cancer, then feel free to go out in the sun without applying sunscreen. But we'd not advise that. One severe sunburn in childhood doubles the chances of a person developing melanoma later in life. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher every time you step out in the sun.
5. Use Wet Wipes
It's natural to sweat continuously if you are out in the sun for too long. So have wet wipes in your bag so that you can wipe out the sweat whenever it feels too uncomfortable. Wet wipes help make the face moisturised and non-sticky.
